Workshop 2 - PhotoGraphic Design


PhotoGraphic is a design exploration that covers photography, typography, sign, symbol, and graphic design elements as they create various kinds of interaction, emphasis and tension both visually and semantically. Students are taken through a step-by-step process that encourages exploration, integration and expression of type, image, and message.

This workshop will focus primarily on poster design as a form of visual communication to create awareness of urban/rural living, mobility/energy, and health/wellness for better communities, citizen empowerment, and cooperative creative. Students will apply photographic and graphic design principles to create a range of type and image interactions presenting facts, statements, viewpoints, stories, and emotions of the topic.

Please Bring Along

Students are recommended to have basic knowledge in Graphic Design and Typography; and basic skills in PhotoShop, InDesign and/or Illustrator applications. Please bring your laptop.
