This semester, our International Seminar Week will take place at the HfG from Monday, May 4 to Friday, May 8, 2026. During this time, regular lectures will be suspended.

Choice of Workshops

You will receive a personal link to choose your workshop on April 17 via your hfg-gmuend.de email address and slack. Using this link, you can rank five courses out of a total of 17. The system will then assign you to one of these courses, which you will attend throughout the week.

The selection will be open until Wednesday, April 22 at 5:00 p.m. Anyone who has not made a selection by then will be assigned to an (available) workshop.

When making your selection, please note that you must indicate your preferences from 1 to 5, with priority 1 being the workshop you would most like to attend. Please understand that not everyone will receive their first choice. You can expect to receive the results by email on Monday, April 26, 2026.

Assessment and General Information

The International Seminar Week will take place from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. There will also be a lunch break and some side events.
The Seminar Week will not be graded. Students who successfully participate will receive 2 ECTS credits.

Please note: Students who are absent for more than one day, will not pass the ISW and will not receive the 2 ECTS credits. This year there is no make-up assignment ("Ersatzaufgabe"). The 2 ECTS credits must then be completed at a later time (e.g., through an additional course during the regular semester or participation in the next lab week, etc.).
