Workshop Description

"How do you take responsibility as a designer? How inclusive are your working methods?"

In this workshop, we consciously position ourselves within the design process: we learn to integrate sociocultural and political contexts into our work, hold space, and develop a sensitivity to diverse perspectives.

Together, we will develop and test practical strategies. At the core are methodological tools that allow us to reflect on, expand, and challenge our own practice, so we can ask new questions, and integrate multiple perspectives. Through a mix of theory and practice, we focus on the question of how we design, not just what we design.

Educational Goal

This workshop is aimed at anyone who understands design as a socially impactful practice and wants to work in a more responsible, inclusive, and context-sensitive way, regardless of discipline or experience level.
