Augmented Reality in Infographic Design

Workshop Description

The key premise of the workshop is to answer the question: How can infographics function in Augmented Reality (AR) as a tool that engages, educates, and stimulates curiosity?

This workshop focuses on the use of AR in designing modern infographics for educational, entertainment, and exhibition contexts. Participants will learn how to combine physical media (posters, illustrations, objects) with digital content layers to create interactive and engaging experiences.

During the workshop, students will gain fundamental knowledge of AR technology, tools for creating AR projects, and UX/UI principles. They will learn how to design AR triggers and develop multimedia elements such as infographics, animations, and typography that enhance visual communication. Participants will explore how to create a message that not only conveys information but also guides the user through an experience—one that is intuitive, immersive, and meaningful.

The outcome of the workshop will be an original AR infographic project accessible on mobile devices, along with documentation in the form of a poster or video.
