'Design for Do-It-Yourself': The democratization of design

Workshop Description

This workshop introduces the concept of ‘Design for Do-It-Yourself’ (Design-for-DIY): creating and facilitating DIY projects for amateurs. Throughout the workshop, participants work in groups to complete a full Design-for-DIY design process, ultimately developing a practical and executable (mostly tangible) DIY project tailored to amateur makers.
