Workshop Description

This workshop focuses on designing lighting concepts for public outdoor spaces, with an emphasis on responsibility toward people, place, and environment. Participants will work on a real-world site to develop a lighting solution that enhances spatial experience, fosters community interaction, supports shared social moments, ensures safety and accessibility, and integrates principles of sustainability.

What you need for this workshop

Basic lighting tools for demonstrations (e.g. portable LED sources, reflectors), as well as reference materials and examples for inspiration.

Requirements

A basic understanding of design processes and spatial thinking is helpful. Interest in lighting and experimentation is essential. No prior experience in lighting design is required.
